this past week i had pretty good luck. thursday i went to the goodwill downtown and found penelope a rocking cradle for $1.99! it just needs a little sanding, a paint job, and bedding, then she’ll be ready for sweet dreams. i’m going to start on the bedding first, i’ve already got the matieral.
friday, i went on my lunchtime walk. i decided to take a different route and go on a longer walk… i ended up lost. i still don’t really don’t know where i was except it was in the hills… i found this old (what i think is a) sewing/knitting caddy. it was sitting there with a bunch of other junk that i assume was being tossed. i carried this baby down the hill and back to my office. it’s getting the paint removed, a nice sanding, new paint job and possibly some stenciling.
i’ll be posting updates of both projects… i wanted to start my doll house this summer, but think these will be good practice projects before i start on something so small and detailed.
